When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Cancellation and Insurance:
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation/holiday insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker. Once full payment has been made, you will not qualify for a refund if you wish to cancel your booking.
If you want to swap to an alternate date, then that is possible in specific personal circumstances, please note that an additional charge is likely to apply due to seasonality pricing. We would need to know 2 weeks in advance, at the latest, to fill any booking. If we can not fill the booking, we are unable to process any type of refund.
Prices & Payment:
The price includes accommodation plus any additional extras chosen at the time of booking. We accept the following forms of payment: Stripe Credit or Debit Card Payment, Stripe is a third party secure payment processor and a deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking, the balance remaining will be debited from your credit or debit card approximately 2 weeks before your stay.
If the final payment is not paid by the due date, Rowton Retreats reserves the right to retain your deposit and re-let the accommodation.
Bookings are deemed provisional until you receive email confirmation.
Rowton Retreats reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking, without a statement of reasons at any time.
In unexceptional circumstances, and if cancelling your booking for reasons beyond our control, we would offer you alternative accommodation, refund or an alternative date.
Amendments to bookings:
Should you wish to make a change to your confirmed booking, this is possible up to 2 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
We allow up to two dogs in Saddle Hill lodge. We ask they do not stay on any furniture to respect future guests. You must keep dogs on leads when around livestock on the farm and clean up after your dog.
Check is from 3pm on the day of arrival.
Check out time is 10 am on the day of departure, you are responsible for ensuring that the key is placed back in the door when leaving.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care when staying at our lodges. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We don not tend to charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant. Please report these as soon as they occur.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
You must be over 18 years old to make a booking and to stay on site without other adults.
We cater for couples, friends and families and reserve the right not to accept bookings. The number of people and dogs occupying each pod or lodge must not exceed the number stated in the booking.
We will try to ensure that all services and facilities connected with the site are available to you during your stay. If services and facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control no liability will attach to us and you will not be entitled to a refund.
If within 24 hours of your booking, we inform you there has been a double booking due to technical error we hold no responsibility to secure your booking and you will be paid a full refund.
Dogs must have adequate bedding, any pod or lodge deemed to be unreasonably covered in dog hair or dirt will be charged a £30 cleaning fee to have the pod professionally cleaned.
We reserve the right to terminate your permission to stay on site immediately in the event that you or those in your party are in breach of these terms and conditions. In the event that permission to stay is terminated as a result of such breach no monies will be refunded to you
Monies will not be refunded in the event that some members of your group fail to arrive or you leave the site early whatever the circumstances.
Personal belongings are your responsibility and we will not be liable for any personal belonging lost/damaged during your stay.
Payment for the lodges is 50% upfront payment and 50% due no later than 21 days before arrival date.
If full payment is not received 2 weeks prior to your stay your booking will be cancelled.
If you want to cancel a booking you must notify us in writing by email.
If you cancel up to 21 days before the start date of your holiday your payments will be refunded to you in full and 50% will be refunded up to 14 days before. Should you cancel within 14 days of the start date of your holiday all monies will be lost. We strongly recommend that you take out your own cancellation insurance.
